Databases
Holland Township School subscribes to a few databases that are perfect for research or independent learning. Click on the links on the Quick Links page or find the links on the library homepage. Email Mrs. Detrick for the usernames and passwords if you don't have them.
As Hunterdon County residents, you have free access to an amazing collection of databases. The public library's databases are organized by age group. At the top of their homepage you will see "Kids," and "Teens." If you scroll over either of these words you will see "Resources A - Z" in the dropdown menu.
- Rosetta Stone: learn how to speak a new language
- Points of View: presents multiple sides of current issues for persuasive essays (found under EBSCOhost)
- Creativebug: Experience the joy of making with thousands of award-winning video classes taught by top designers and artists.
- Libby, Overdrive and RBDigital: ebooks, audiobooks and digital magazines
- Ancestry: research your family's genealogy (you must be at the public library to access this database)
- Novelist: An online readers' advisory service to help locate new books to read, based on topics of interest.
In order to access these databases, you will need to click on the image or link. You will then be prompted to enter a barcode. You can either enter the barcode on the back of your library card or you can use the generic code they created for students: 0834123456.
